The Cause
Your care at Family Sabatino Chiropractic begins with an examination and history of your condition. The Doctor will be looking to see if your problem is being caused by abnormal alignment and movement of your spine (Vertebral Subluxation). This causes nerve pressure and interference, effecting the function and health of your body.
History of trauma, length of condition and symptoms will be recorded. Spinal range of motion, palpation of your spine, and a four view digitized picture of your posture will be taken. Depending on your history of trauma and the severity of your condition you may be referred out for spinal x-rays.
If the Doctor determines that your condition is caused by Vertebral Subluxation, Chiropractic care will be recommended.
The Solution
The Chiropractic adjustment is a specific force applied to a vertebra, aimed at correcting Vertebral Subluxations. The goal of adjusting the spine is to restore proper motion, improve spinal function and remove interference to the nervous system. Correction takes force, repetition with multiple adjustments over time, depending on the severity and length of your condition.
Once Vertebral Subluxations are corrected your body will be able to function better. Health problems and symptoms will begin to improve, sometimes after the first adjustment. Depending on your lifestyle and health goals, regular maintenance adjustments may be recommended.
